Executive Message: KimMarie Larsen—15 Years of Purpose and Connection
As we celebrate ASEA’s 15th anniversary, I find myself reflecting on the extraordinary journey we’ve taken together. Watching ASEA grow over the past decade and a half has been nothing short of inspiring—not just in terms of expanding our products, technology, and global reach, but in the deep, personal growth of the people who’ve been with us since the beginning.
I’ve had the privilege of a front-row seat to this transformation. I’ve watched leaders like Trish Schwenkler evolve into mentors and cheerleaders, guiding their teams with heart and purpose. I’ve seen children grow up, start families, and become part of the ASEA story. How RoseMary, Chuck & Tammi were bringing buses and caravans of people to Salt Lake City to meet ASEA leaders was inspiring. These moments remind me that our greatest strength lies in human connection.
I remember standing at the back of meeting rooms with our Founder, Verdis Norton, a few years into our journey. He would turn to me, eyes full of emotion, and say, “Can you believe it? Can you believe how we are helping people?” It was never just about business—it was about our mission unfolding in real time. ASEA truly helps people live better lives. We are, and always have been, a force for good in the world.
The ethos of ASEA is rooted in compassion, resilience, and love. Tyler Norton, our other founder and chair, has spoken from the beginning about “Believe, Belong, Become,” and those words continue to guide us. We want every person who interacts with ASEA to feel empowered to unlock their potential.
As we’ve traveled the globe, meeting new members of our ASEA family and hearing stories of improved health and brighter futures, our purpose has only grown stronger. At every event, we hear the same sentiment: “It feels like a family reunion.” That’s because we are a family—and we love being with you.
It’s hard to believe 15 years have passed. Time flies when you live with passion and purpose. Verdis left us a legacy of light, and it’s up to each of us to carry it forward. The future is filled with possibility, and together, united in purpose, we can continue to touch lives and make a difference.
Here’s to 15 years of impact at ASEA—and to the many more ahead.
With gratitude, KimMarie Larsen Senior Vice President of Ethos, Events and Recognition Chair, ASEA Advancing Life Foundation
